I found the advice to do both at once in one of my books, can't remember which one, though. I still have to figure out how to do two on one set of needles, or reread the directions you sent me at least.

I think that the number of projects you have going seems pretty sane. Especially since you have to have two on hold. I think it seems pretty good to have two levels of projects at once. But I can't seem to get over being obsessive, so I try to keep the projects I'm actually working on to a minimum. This number does not include the projects that are only "in the hopper," and for which I may have purchased the yarn and found a pattern, but have not actually cast on any stitches. Those are in a queue, but I don't feel the pressure of them until I cast on.

Hmm, I do have two embroidery projects that have been on hold for a while, but I won't be able to get back to them until I knit a few more things.Jay Queuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07913352964858650895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1935435296789795566.post-85326620130607903492007-04-04T20:40:00.000-04:002007-04-04T20:40:00.000-04:00That's an interesting approach to avoid 2nd sock s...That's an interesting approach to avoid 2nd sock syndrome. I try not to have too many projects going on at once, but tend to have at least two - one harder and 1 easier/quicker/mentally unchallenging/social. Sometimes this increases to a 2nd one when there is something I really want to try. I guess technically I have 5 projects right now -- a vest on long term hold, a vest on short term hold, a hat and socks that I am pretty actively working on, and a hat that is really just an experiment.WKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06985150192569806523noreply@blogger.com
